At COLOR Creative, I was a designer tasked with developing the Open Device Partnership (ODP) brand and website. ODP is a global initiative combining open standards with collaborative development practices to empower developers and device makers across diverse silicon and hardware platforms.

Knowing that ODP is an initiative of collaboration, we kept the brand colors monochrome to instead shift emphasis onto each of the various projects.

Some projects have a “Patina” texture for further distinction, with a customizable color to blend with green and yellow.

In the web design, hierarchy is established by contrast. In light mode, you’ll find a solid white background is the focal point as it gradually becomes gray with reduced contrast. Conversely, in dark mode, a solid black background is the focal point.
